Welcome to Queerly Beloved Creative Co.
QBCC is made up of a one-person crew. Rayne is a person who has a passion for creating beautiful and meaningful content- and having fun doing it. QBCC believes that representation matters and we are committed to highlighting the diversity and strength of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. My name is Rayne Heck and I am the brains behind Queerly Beloved Creative Co!
I was born in Fargo, and moved to Bemidji in 4th grade, where I smoothly attended school through 8th grade. With a lot of time... I came out as queer (+ later non-binary) while going to Bemidji High School. Thanks to the never-ending harassment, I left and and enrolled in full-time PSEO at Bemidji State University during my junior year. This allowed me to have more free time and find new spaces to be me. I took a job at Calvary Lutheran Church as a Preschool Aide, and then as the Multimedia Minister.
I began seeking out 2SLGBTQIA+ spaces with small things like attending the first Bemidji Pride festival, then doing some small projects for the second annual Bemidji Pride, like helping out with vendor mapping and designing a sticker. And, from there on I slowly became fully immersed in the local LGBTQIA2s+ community, like I am today. I volunteered at local drag shows, became fully committed to Bemidji Pride as the Marketing & Merchandising Coordinator, and now... I'm picking up the camera to highlight the local LGBTQIA2s+ community.

I resigned from my position at Calvary in 2023 due to many reasons, but mostly so I could find time to focus on my passions. I have since accepted a new position at Lutheran Social Services as an Employment Specialist so I can focus on QBCC and Bemidji Pride- and am looking forward to a new chapter in my life.
