Welcome to Queerly Beloved Creative Co.

QBCC is made up of a two-person crew, both people who share a passion for creating beautiful and meaningful content- and having fun doing it. We believe that representation matters and we are committed to highlighting the diversity and strength of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. We believe in creating a more inclusive world, one project at a time.

My name is Rayne Heck and I am the brains behind Queerly Beloved Creative Co!

I was born in Fargo, and moved to Bemidji in 4th grade, where I smoothly attended school through 8th grade. With a lot of time... I came out as queer (+ later non-binary) while going to Bemidji High School. Thanks to the never-ending harassment, I left and and enrolled in full-time PSEO at Bemidji State University during my junior year. This allowed me to have more free time and find new spaces to be me. I took a job at Calvary Lutheran Church as a Preschool Aide, and then as the Multimedia Minister.

I began seeking out 2SLGBTQIA+ spaces with small things like attending the first Bemidji Pride festival, then doing some small projects for the second annual Bemidji Pride, like helping out with vendor mapping and designing a sticker. And, from there on I slowly became fully immersed in the local LGBTQIA2s+ community, like I am today. I volunteered at local drag shows, became fully committed to Bemidji Pride as the Marketing & Merchandising Coordinator, and now... I'm picking up the camera to highlight the local LGBTQIA2s+ community.

I recently resigned from my position at Calvary due to many reasons, but mostly so I could find time to focus on my passions. I have since accepted a new position at Harmony Natural Foods Co-op as a Lead Cashier so I can focus on QBCC and Bemidji Pride- and am looking forward to a new chapter in my life.

Hi, I'm Abby! I was born in Dilworth, MN where I lived for most of my life, and where Rayne and I became besties. We went to the same daycare, and for many years, I was "Apple". While in Dilworth, I attended DGF Schools and was involved with multiple sports and activities like Bio Girls, Basketball, Band, and more.

When I moved to Bemidji in 8th grade, I was able to continue sports and activities like Dance, Show Choir, Band, and Track through Bemidji High School. I am finishing my Senior year of High School through the PSEO program at Bemidji State University.

I am the BHS Football Cheer Captain and I enjoy leading the cheer team. My boyfriend Riley is my rock, and is coincidentally featured in most of Rayne's couple photos!

As Rayne's assistant, I get toted around to various gigs and often get invited to be comedic entertainment. But for real, I often get to be an second photographer, carry all the things, and help with creating posing/smiles/natural laughs.

(+ also get to model for a variety of new pose ideas!)
